Airlines criticise air traffic control after second glitch this month | BBC News

Flights across the UK have been disrupted by a "technical issue" with air traffic control.

Nats, which runs air traffic control, said it had "nothing to do" with a software defect that led to the cancellation of 2,000 flights earlier this month.

The issue at Nats' Prestwick centre in Ayrshire is "now fixed", with the system running "at full capacity".

Around 200 flights were cancelled or did not fly today, analytics firm Cirium said.
