COVERED in SNOW - EXPENSIVE SEA SALT, HOW I MAKE IT for FREE | DIVING for HUGE SCALLOPS - Ep. 168

Jake and Nicolle and their son Fox are living in the temperate rain forest and the winter is almost over. But, before winter ends nature is throwing a variety of magical weather our way including sun, rain, wind, snow, hail, sleet, and graupel many times all in the same day. The rain forest is an abundant and mysterious place. A local barge captain told us yesterday he saw his first bear of the season on the beach so the bears are now awake also. In this episode of the Jake and Nicolle show we powder kelp seaweed, make our own sea salt using fire and ocean water, free dive for fish and scallops, cook home made and home grown potato gnocchi, and chop wood endlessly to stay warm. We have now used about 50% of our wood storage and won't be able to dry more wood until end of May. Do you think we will make it? We finally get a tractor to help Jake complete these projects (and to save his back).
