US President Donald Trump vowed Iran's stockpile of highly enriched uranium will be recovered, while reports emerged that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei issued a directive that his country's uranium should not be sent abroad.

Meanwhile, Pakistan is continuing its efforts at shuttle diplomacy and a warning from the International Energy Agency states oil markets are heading for a 'red zone'.
