HERBAL DRESSED CANDLES different STYLES + TECHNIQUES
#herbalcandles #dressedcandles #magick
Hey Witches!!
I have been wanting to do an in depth video of how I dress my herbal candles ever since I did one for yule! There are so many different and affordable techniques you can use!
I included a few different techniques for each step of the process! as you will see I have a few things that I personally like to do in my craft when making herbal dressed candles!
When it comes to adding essential oils I have a couple methods.. you can simply drop essential oils over candle and use your hand to disperse of the oil so that it anoint your entire candle! you can also add essential oils into voices and tea lights as well! you can also use pipettes to add essential oils. pipettes are something I love to use in different parts of my craft! they are really useful with finer details and to avoid mixing droppers in other oils.
when it comes to adding color a couple techniques I use include my personal favorite which is just lighting smaller chime candles and dripping the wax color over top! I usually keep a small cup of chime candles to the side and they will typically last me a while as I don't cover the whole candle. you can also buy mica powder through amazon and either dip a brush and essentially paint it on to mix it directing into melted wax.
when it comes to melting downpour own wax, you can add color and essential oils and take a spoon and drizzle the color and scent onto the candle. I also like to take a pipette and drizzle on wax while adding herbs to ensure that they stick better! you can also add your herbs right in and spoon on the mixture as well!
If you want to make easy and affordable herbal dressed candles this video is for you!
