How to Harvest Comfrey Leaves and Roots from Your Garden- Knitbone Herb Symphytum officinale

In this video I am going to show you how to harvest the comfrey leaves that you may have growing, as well as dig up the roots. Comfrey- Symphytum officinale is an attractive plant with large broad leaves, (deep green in the Russian variety, and lighter green in the English variety) with tubular flowers that range in blue to purple, and white. You will need gloves, a collecting basket and a small trowel. I will be creating another video on how to process, and clean the roots and leaves for drying.
