Writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue discusses UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s threat to call a general election if Labour colleagues don’t fall in line.

“He’s basically told the Labour Party, many of whom owe their rise to him, that if they don’t put up and deal with the fact that he’s not planning on going anywhere, he will call a general election, which is basically throwing a nuclear bomb onto the Labour Party,” he told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“He’s basically said he’s not going anywhere; you either have to put up with me or watch your seat vanish into thin air because I will call a general election.”
