Migrant hotel protests: the impact on local communities and asylum seekers | ITV News

A special report on the protests being held outside hotels housing asylum seekers and the impact it's having on local communities - and on asylum seekers themselves.

ITV's Tonight programme has been to the scene of one demonstration in West London where at first locals welcomed families who were being housed there.

But now there's anger after the Home Office announced those families would be replaced by single men.

In Blackpool a woman who used to work at an Asylum Seeker hotel claims she quit over appalling conditions people were being housed in.

And one Asylum Seeker said that she had fire thrown at her head when walking past protestors standing outside.
