UK prepares for another heatwave as wildfires burn in Europe

Parts of the UK have been told to prepare for another heatwave this week - with temperatures set to reach the 30s once again.

There's been a similar pattern across Europe and east coast US, as climate breakdown accelerates.

The last 11 years have been the warmest 11 years on record - with 2026 looking to continue that trend. Yet worldwide, politicians are still divided on the transition to net zero.
