Pink Ladies organiser Orla Minihane delivers a furious response after Bridget Phillipson was challenged over the safety concerns raised by women living near the proposed male-only asylum site in Piddington.

Bridget said women were right to feel fearful in society more broadly but stopped short of saying whether the proposed camp would create a specific danger for local residents.

Orla accuses the Government of showing “zero empathy” and refusing to confront concerns surrounding the plan to accommodate approximately 1,250 men near the small Oxfordshire community.
