Richard demonstrated a standard wax ring, as well as larger size wax rings that can make up the difference of a raised floor. He also shows alternative to the commonly used wax ring that help to raise the seal on a depressed flange, a Sani Seal [http://saniseal.com/] Waxless Toilet Gasket and the Danco [https://www.danco.com/] Perfect Seal Sleeve Toilet Wax Ring. Other alternatives to raising the height of the flange are spacer kits both sold by Oatey [https://www.oatey.com/]. Wax rings, alternatives to wax, and flange spacers are available at home centers and plumbing supply houses.

Steps for How to Repair a Leaking Toilet :
1. To diagnose a leak, check out a few places on the toilet.
2. First check out the water supply line. It’s possible there could be a loose nut or a leak on the supply hose.
3. Next check the line between the tank and the bowl. Bolts may be loose, causing the leak to appear just below the tank.
4. If the leak is most prominent on the floor around the toilet (or on the ceiling below), check the wax ring seal between the toilet and the flange.
5. If the height of the flange is too low, you may have to get a higher wax ring to compensate.
6. Alternatives to the wax ring are a foam seal or a plastic seal.
7. Other options for raising the flange: Adding flange spacers or adding a flange insert.

Rear wheel arch rot is common in a lot of vehicles, and especially in pickup trucks. The rear tires spray water around, and road dirt, grime, and salt build up in the area between the inner and outer panels. This grime buildup can hold moisture which will eventually start to corrode the panels from the inside out. In pickups it's even worse because manufacturers spray a "sound deadening" material into this area. This material acts like a sponge that holds moisture. In a fairly short amount of time, that moisture will rust through the outer wheel arch of your truck, and you'll start seeing bubbles in the paint. Unfortunately, by the time you see the bubbles it's too late. The damage has already started. The good news is that there are wheel arch repair panels, and wheelhouse repair panels, that can help you fix this area. If you have a rusty wheel arch, this video shows you one way of repairing a rusted wheel arch.

3. Use a reciprocating saw to cut the top of the post free from the overhead beam.
4. Remove the rotted post and lay it across two sawhorses.
5. Cut away the rotted section from the bottom end of the post using a circular saw.
6. Cut a new post section from a rough-sawn cedar 6x6.
7. Mark and cut a half-lap scarf joint into the new post section using a circular saw and reciprocating saw.
8. Set the new post section on top of the old post and trace the half-lap scarf joint onto the old post.
9. Cut a mating scarf joint into the old post.
10. Sand the joint smooth with a random-orbit sander, then fine-tune the joint with a hammer and chisel.
11. Apply several beads of construction adhesive to the scarf joint cut into the post.
12. Evenly spread the adhesive over the entire joint with a flexible-blade putty knife.
13. Fasten the new post to the old post with four 5-inch-long structural screws. Use an impact driver to drive the screwheads about 1/4 inch below the surface.

16. Once the putty dries, sand the post smooth.
17. Coat all bare wood surfaces with exterior-grade spray primer.
18. Screw the base plate to the bottom of the post.
19. Stand the repaired post back in place on the porch, then release the hydraulic jacks and remove the temporary 2x4 posts.
20. Secure the top and bottom of the post with screws, then apply a paint top coat to the post.
21. Reattach the handrail to the post.

Rust hole removal and repair. Repairing a rust hole in your car is something that should be done quickly to prevent it from spreading. You can easily do this at home with some practice and get the results you see in this video. I teach you the basics of what welder you want to use and how to weld so you can get started. Learn how to repair a deep scratch in the paint of your car. In this case someone keyed my car so I will show you how to remove a deep scratch from that using a touch up paint pen. Fixing scratches in your car's paint is simple and if they are just clear coat scratches it is even easier.
To remove deep scratches you need to clean the scratch, sand the scratch, use touchup paint on the scratch, sand that paint smooth with the factory paint job, add clear coat, and wet sand that smooth with the factory paint. Then you can polish the whole panel and you are done!
