Tommy Robinson has publicly backed Reform UK's Matt Goodwin in the upcoming Gorton & Denton by-election, sharing a post on X that urged people to “Vote for Matt”.

The endorsement has added fuel to an already heated campaign. Reform UK said Robinson “isn’t welcome” in the party, while Labour Party accused Reform of “toxic politics”.

The anti-racism group Hope Not Hate has said it will campaign hard to stop Goodwin being elected.
