In this update, a few fresh cuttings are taken from mother plants, trimmed down to improve airflow and reduce potential pest habitats. The clones are started in an aeroponic spray cloner box with clonex nutrient added, and their lowest nodes are removed before being secured in foam pucks.
The process includes adjusting water pH from 7.3 down to 6, keeping mother plants on a steady 4–5 day watering cycle, and eventually potting the rooted clones into ProMix HP soil amended with Gaia Green Organics. With worm castings, mineral dust, and mycorrhizae already mixed in, the soil is ready to support healthy growth right from the start. After planting, each new clone is given a light drink of dechlorinated tap water to settle in.
