England drought: Boaters race to escape canal closures as water levels run low

The drought afflicting parts of southern and central England and Wales, is having a devastating impact on the regions' usually tranquil canals.

Shrinking water levels in many canals are leading to the closure of the locks - with a costly knock-on effect for those whose livelihoods depend on the waterways.
