Three quarters of US senior population have received first vaccine

The United States has reported more than 165 million doses of coronavirus vaccinations have been administered to date across the nation.

Approximately 32 per cent of Americans including three quarters of the senior population have received at least one shot of the vaccine.

However case numbers have spiked causing some governors to reconsider plans to reopen.
