US President Donald Trump's attack on Canada's economy is part of his attempt to break the existing 80-year old rules-based order (trade, international law, free trade, etc). Canada had no choice but to find different trading partners or expand trade with existing ones. PM Mark Carney is navigating a new world that Trump has created.
