In this video I am going to show you how to create a Private app on Shopify, and then use the API information to update products on your store. This example will demonstrate how to change the status of a product through the Shopify API using Python requests and a JSON payload. We will use a GET request to get all the product data, find the ID and then a PUT request to update a specfic data field.

Building data-driven web apps is tough. Yes, Python makes it easier than most languages, but you need to know a host of different languages and technologies and they have to fit together just right. Anvil is a platform or a framework for building full-stack web applications with only Python.
Hope you enjoy this presentation, and just to clarify I'm not with or against Anvil, because I read a lot of Negative Opinions about this platform, but I can say that for each door there's a key; and maybe Anvil is a key to solve a lot of problems in companies which don't want to be bothered by all the new tech on the market ( languages, frameworks, etc... ) and want something simple to create an application quickly to do the job.
