Dr. Bruce Lipton explores the profound influence of the mind on health and well-being, emphasizing the principles of Hermetic wisdom. They delve into how thoughts can affect genetic activity and the powerful placebo effect, highlighting consciousness's pivotal role in both healing and disease.
The conversation reveals the detrimental impact of negative thinking and the principle of correspondence, explaining how the vibrational nature of our thoughts influences overall health. They also address common misconceptions, such as misperceptions about health, the false emphasis on cholesterol as a health indicator, and the harmful effects of certain pharmaceutical drugs.
Dr. Lipton underscores the interconnectedness of matter and energy, advocating for a deeper understanding of how our thoughts and consciousness shape our health and experiences. He touches on gratitude's power, the misrepresentation of beauty standards, and the collapse of civilization, urging a new way of living harmoniously with nature. The discussion concludes with a profound exploration of spirituality and the essence of living a fulfilling life.

On today’s Life Question of the Week Michael answers the existential question: “If I chose to be here on the planet at this time and picked the parents that I have, how come I couldn’t have determined the outcome for my life, or have it turn out better than it did?”

Next, Michael sits down with Bruce Lipton, stem cell biologist, the bestselling author of "The Biology of Belief: Unleashing the Power of Consciousness, Matter and Miracles," and an internationally recognized leader in bridging science and spirit whose breakthrough studies in the 1980s and 90s on the cell membrane gave rise to one of today’s most important fields of study: the science of epigenetics, which has since been validated in many subsequent papers by other researchers.

In this episode, Michael and Bruce discuss Bruce’s spiritual epiphany which transformed his life as well as his understanding of and approach to his cell biology research; how our mind/consciousness/energy field affects our body chemistry, genes, and how we experience life; and how we can retrain our consciousness to create healthy beliefs for a healthy life.

There is powerful science behind how our beliefs inform our genetic expression. It’s not our genes alone that dictate our health outcomes, rather it’s the biology of belief that determines our destiny.

Today on The Doctor’s Farmacy, I’m excited to talk to Dr. Bruce Lipton about how exactly our thoughts determine our genetic expression, and how we can influence our health using our minds.

Do you ever feel like what you're doing is derivative? Like a lot of your ideas are just a copy? It's probably because the places you're mining for inspiration aren't broad enough. In this video, 37signals CEO Jason Fried talks to Chris about how important diversity of sources is when it comes to being inspired, and why it's especially important to get away from the things in your own industry to develop new and interesting ideas.

Omar left Kurdistan and paid a smuggler $15,000 (£12,000) to get him to Britain. He was there for 20 months, suffered a stroke, failed to gain asylum.

He ended up paying a smuggler £500 to get him out of Britain and back to this squalid camp in France.

Based on the Government's Rwanda law, Omar feared being deported and that led him to leave the country, he says ''Britain is not what people think it is'.

Lyrics...
O come, O come, Emmanuel
And ransom captive Israel
That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear

Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel

O come, Thou Rod of Jesse, free
Thine own from Satan's tyranny
From depths of hell Thy people save
And give them victory o'er the grave

Simchu, Simchu, Emmanuel
Yavo lachem b’nei Yisrael

O come, Thou Key of David, come
And open wide our heavenly home
Make safe the way that leads on high
And close the path to misery

Simchu, simchu, Emmanuel
Yavo lachem b’nei Yisrael

Has come to you O Israel

O Come, O Come Emmanuel [Live in Jerusalem]
