The Gospel of Salvation from the 1537 Matthew's Holy Bible:

1 Corinthians 15:1-8

Brethren as pertaining to the gospel which I preached unto you / which ye have also accepted / and in the which ye continue / by the which also ye are saved: I do you to wit / after what manner I preached unto you / if you keep it / except ye have believed in vain.
For first of all I delivered unto you that which I received: how that Christ died for our sins / agreeing to the scriptures and that he was buried / and that he arose again the third day according to the scriptures:
and that he was seen of Cephas / then of the twelve. After that he was seen of more than five hundred brethren at once: of which many remain unto this day / and many are fallen asleep. After that appeared he to James / then to all the Apostles. And last of all he was seen of me / as of one that was born out of due time.
Romans 10:9-13
10:9 For if thou shalt knowledge with thy mouth that Jesus is the Lord, and shalt believe with thine heart that God raised him up from death, thou shalt be safe.
10:10 For the belief of the heart justifieth: and to knowledge with the mouth, maketh a man safe.
10:11 For the scripture saith: whosoever believeth on him, shall not be ashamed.
10:12 There is no difference between the Jew, & the Gentile. For one is Lord over all / which is rich unto all that call on him.
10:13 For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord, shall be safe.
Romans 3:23-26
3:23 for all have sinned, and lack the praise that is of valor before God,
3:24 but are justified freely by his grace / through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
3:25 whom God hath made a seat of mercy through faith in his blood / to shew the righteousness which before him is of valor, in that he forgiveth the sins that are passed / which God did suffer
3:26 to shew at this time / the righteousness that is allowed of him / that he might be counted just / and a justifier of him which believeth on Jesus.
Ephesians 2:8-10
2:8 For by grace are ye made safe through faith / and that not of your selves. For it is the gift of God /
2:9 and commeth not of works, lest any man should boast him self.
2:10 For we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works / unto the which God ordained us before / that we should walk in them.
Acts 4:12
4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other. Nor yet also is there any other name given to men wherein we must be saved.
Acts 16:31
16:31 And they said: believe on the Lord Jesus & thou shalt be saved & thy household.
John 3:3-8
3:3 Jesus answered & said unto him: verily verily, I said unto the: except a man be borne a new, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
3:4 Nicodemus said unto him: how can a man be borne when he is old? can he enter into his mothers womb and be borne again?
3:5 Jesus answered: verily, verily, I say unto the: except that a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
3:6 That which is borne of the flesh is flesh: and that which is borne of the spirit, is sprite.
3:7 Marvel not that I said to the, ye must be borne a new.
3:8 The wind bloweth where he listeth: and thou hearest his sound: but canst not tell whence he cometh and whither he goeth: So is every man that is borne of the spirit.
Matthew 26:26-28
26:26 As they did eat, Jesus toke bread and gave thankes, brake it and gave it to the disciples and said: Take, eat, this is my body.
26:27 And he took the cup, & thanked, and gave it them, saying: drink of it every one:
26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, that shall be shedde for many, for the remission of sins.
Mark 12:30-31
12:30 And thou shalt love the Lorde thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, & with al thy mind, and with all thy strength. This is the first commandment.
12:31 And the second is like unto this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thy self. There is none other commandment greater then these.

Paul McCartney - Blackbird
Live Glastonbury Music Festival 2004

Lyrics:
Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise

Black bird singing in the dead of night
Take these sunken eyes and learn to see
all your life
you were only waiting for this moment to be free

Blackbird fly, Blackbird fly
Into the light of the dark black night.

Blackbird fly, Blackbird fly
Into the light of the dark black night.

Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise,oh
You were only waiting for this moment to arise, oh
You were only waiting for this moment to arise
