➡️ Resentment is a dangerous filter to view the world through. It can grow into anger, hatred, bitterness, and all sorts of destructive things—but there’s an alternative: forgiveness. ➡️ God is moving in unprecedented ways, and we can see evidence of this in many places, including Israel. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses Israel and its significance to the Church and other nations. He shares his observations about current conditions in Israel, after spending several days in the country, including a visit to a Kibbutz that was invaded on October 7 by Hamas. “Some people have denied the attacks, and say they didn’t happen,” Pastor Allen said. “I can tell you they lie.” He discusses why Israel matters to God, and why it should matter to us. He also offers biblical and historical insight to show how a nation’s support of Israel brings God’s blessings and protection, while oppressing Israel and its people invites God’s judgment and wrath.

“My hair was standing up on my arms while I was listening to this song. It felt like I didn't even write it,” John Rich told Pastor Allen in this podcast. Rich is a country singer who felt inspired by the Holy Spirit to write his new song, “Revelation.” It contains a warning for believers to wake up, humble themselves, and repent before Christ returns. He describes what it was like to receive this message for the world, and how he felt led to proclaim it to as many people as possible. The Church has been silent in the face of evil for far too long. It’s time for us to take a stand and be overcomers in a culture of chaos, not overlookers.

➡️ Being a strong leader doesn’t require a large following or the type of influence that’s recognized by others. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses what makes leaders great, according to Jesus, and how this differs from the world’s standards. He reviews passages from Hebrews 11 and Acts 16, highlighting people who allowed God to speak into their lives and their determination to follow Him, even when it required changing their course. At times their faithfulness led to opposition, not applause. We will encounter the same today as we follow the Lord into the assignments He has for us. ➡️ God is still recruiting men and women who will give themselves to His purposes. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson talks about the importance of choosing to please God, saying “yes” when He recruits us for assignments. Pastor Allen shows how several heroes in the Bible responded when God asked them to do something difficult. Their initial responses were much like ours: "I’m not ready; I’m not capable; I’m too busy; There are other people more qualified to do that, God.” When God calls us to do something new, it generally comes with challenges. But if we determine to pray, please God, and do difficult things, He will use our lives to accomplish mighty things in His Kingdom.
