Either buy compost for propagation, or you can make it. With homemade you know what's in there. See possibilities here: having good materials to make your own needs forethought and that you made suitable compost.

Why compost not soil?
Compost has a fine crumb structure, good aeration, decent drainage. Although the soil at Homeacres is great soil, it is dense and wet in cells and pots.

What makes a good mix?! In order of importance:
1 Nutrient density, 2 Good drainage, 3 Holds moisture, 4 Weed free.

I show three possible main ingredients sieved to 4mm,
1 Own compost
2 Worm compost
3 Woodchip compost - must be dry enough to sieve, makes manure difficult
PLUS in small amounts (and why) are soil, perlite/vermiculite, sand, minerals like seaweed powder, wood ash, basalt dust.

00:04 Any new sowings are for trial purposes!
00:38 Multisown radish, 5 seeds per cell
00:54 Result with homemade compost when it's good
01:39 Dramatic comparison between 2 different composts
02:04 What is digestate 'compost'
02.31 So-called 'organic' compost
02:49 My composts for this video
03:00 Result of sieving homemade compost to 12mm / half inch
04.20 Result of sieving composts to 4mm / 1/6in
04:58 Composts need to be dry for sieving to work
05:58 18 month old compost 4mm
06:25 Three year old wood chip to 4mm
07:07 Worm compost to 4mm, includes a little soil from being on the ground
07:58 How to run worm composting at different scales
09:17 Be creative, according to what you have available
10:10 Amazing weight differences of soil, compost, vermiculite
11:29 Wood ash
11:51 Rockdust from basalt / volcanic
12:38 3 kale plants, 6 months in 2L. pots of different composts
13.15 (spent) Mushroom compost
13:44 Propagation fun
14:16 An easy way to mix ingredients

Lyrics:
Sunday mornings were your favorite
I used to meet you down on Woods Creek road
You did your hair up like you were famous
Even though it’s only church where we were goin
Now Sunday mornings I just sleep in
It’s like I buried my faith with you
Screaming at a god I don’t know if I believe in
Cause I don’t know what else I can do
I’m still holding on
To everything that’s dead and gone
I don’t wanna say goodbye
Cause this one means forever
Now you’re in the stars
And six feet’s never felt so far
Here I am alone between the heavens and the embers
Oh it hurts so hard
For a million different reasons
You took the best of my heart
And left the rest in pieces
Digging through your old birthday letters
A crumpled 20 still in the box
I don’t think that I could ever find a way to spend it
Even if it’s the last 20 that I’ve got
I’m still holding on
To everything that’s dead and gone
I don’t wanna say goodbye
Cause this one means forever
Now you’re in the stars
And six feet’s never felt so far
Here I am alone between the heavens and the embers
Oh it hurts so hard
For a million different reasons
You took the best of my heart
And left the rest in pieces
I’m still holding, holding, holding on
I’m still holding, holding, holding on
I’m still holding, holding, holding on
I’m still, still holding on
I’m still holding on
To everything that’s dead and gone
I don’t wanna say goodbye
Cause this one means forever
Now you’re in the stars
And six feet’s never felt so far
Here I am alone between the heavens and the embers
Oh it hurts so hard
For a billion different reasons
You took the best of my heart
And left the rest in pieces

Lyrics

You call arrows to fall short
Because the snow is at our feet
And when embraces subside, and the lilies have died
It comes down to her tears on a sheet

But it's alright because
You cause lanterns to light
And force demons disperse
And if Lucifer may fear the swift drying of tears
Then, for evil, you could not be worse

But I see you now, yeah, I see you
And release me now, kinda like dreams do
And I see you now, was hard to see you
Just don't forget to sing
Remember everything

You're the only little girl I know who'd bring a kite in the snow
Said, "You just gonna hold it up?"
Said, "Nah, I'm gonna let it go"
And when your heart hurts, days like today are the antidote
If you think just maybe it's her
Then promise me, young man, you're gonna let her know

You won't go lonely, yeah
You won't go lonely, yeah
You won't go lonely, yeah
You won't go lonely, yeah

It'll all be better in the morning
'Cause while you sleep, I'll build a wall
Pick a weapon up or something
We're 'bout to have ourselves a brawl
In dead of night, one window open
He heard her singing down the hall
Singing 'bout him, least he was hoping
She left her listener enthralled
Woohoo

Veterans, NATO leaders and Prince Harry have reacted with anger after US President Donald Trump said veterans from other NATO member states avoided the front line in Afghanistan. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said the comments were "insulting and frankly appalling" and has called on Mr Trump to apologise.Subscribe: http://ab.co/1svxLVE

LYRICS:

My Jesus
My Saviour
Lord there is none like You
All of my days
I want to praise
The wonders of Your mighty love

My comfort, my shelter
Tower of refuge and strength
Let every breath, all that I am
Never cease to worship You

Shout to the Lord all the Earth, let us sing
Power and majesty, praise to the King
Mountains bow down and the seas will roar
At the sound of Your name

I sing for joy at the work of Your hand
Forever I'll love You, forever I'll stand
Nothing compares to the promise I have
In You

My Jesus, my Saviour
Lord there is none like You
All of my days I want to praise
The wonders of Your mighty love

My comfort, my shelter
Tower of refuge and strength
Let every breath, all that I am
Never cease to worship You

Shout to the Lord all the Earth, let us sing
Power and majesty, praise to the King
Mountains bow down and the seas will roar
At the sound of Your name

I sing for joy at the work of Your hand
Forever I'll love You, forever I'll stand

The Government has released the final tranche of the Mandelson files.

Spanning more than 1,500 pages and filled with often colourful details about Sir Keir Starmer’s Government, the documents relate to Lord Mandelson’s ill-fated appointment as ambassador to the US.

The Telegraph’s team of journalists has combed through the files to find all the key issues.

Springfield Prodigy 1911DS Review
https://bit.ly/2CHLudt

Springfield just made a Double Stacked 1911 chambered in 9mm.

I was born and raised in the south, and in the south, we call all soft drinks "COKE", all tissues Kleenex, and all bandages Band-AIDs.

Many people in the gun world tend to call any double stack 9mm 1911 a 2011.

But that's not technically correct.

That's because all 2011s are essentially double-stacked 1911s, but not all double-stack 1911s are 2011s.

There are two versions of the Prodigy:

A 4.25" Forged Stainless Steel, Match Grade, Bull Barrel

and

A 5" Forged Stainless Steel, Match Grade, Bull Barrel.

Everything else is exactly the same.

Same grip and a grip length, same Forged Carbon Steel frame, the same Forged Carbon Steel Slide that is optics ready, same 2 Piece Full-Length Guide Rod, and they both come with one 17 Round and 20 Round Magazine.

Also, I am just launching 2 NEW Products.
