Mist Survival update 0.5.0 added a new animal we can hunt - wild boar. I've tried to bag one earlier in the update but they are harder to catch than deer - until today. I've tried the hunting rifle but they take off and when I find a boar I'm not if it's the one I shot . Hunting with the bow will leave an arrow I can identify my target by.

Currently in alpha testing, MIST SURVIVAL is a Single-player, survival stealth sandbox game. Players will experience an apocalypse simulation the form of a virus pandemic. Players have to survive through difficulties such as finding shelter and food, fending off threats from bandits, the infected and wild animals.

For 44 years, I’ve had the good fortune to photograph and write about my passion – the outdoor life. Wild creatures and wild places have always stirred me – from the first flushing pheasant that frightened me out of my socks in grandpa’s cornfield to the last whitetail that dismissed me with a wag of its tail. I've seen the beauty that everyone should see and survived adventures that everyone should experience. I may not have climbed the highest mountains, canoed the wildest rivers, caught the largest fish, or shot the biggest bucks, but I’ve tried. Perhaps you have, too. And that’s the essential thing. Ep 1 - Preserving different food sources and building a permanent shelter able to withstand the frigid Labrador Fall and Winter. Once winter sets in making ice travel possible we plan on traversing back to the coast 150km away by any means necessary.

Along with my good friend Dj Tudino we are putting all our survival, bushcraft, primitive hunting fishing and building skills to the ultimate test of survival. Being dropped in northern Labrador without food and only 10 survival items, along with a ton of batteries, solar panels and camera gear to film a small Hollywood production.
