Ivermectin labeled a wonder drug in the 80"s because it killed the parasite causing river blindness. Later found to kill a host of parasites and skin invaders like scabies. During COVID19 it became folklore that Ivermectin could cure COVID and it became popular. However, it requires a doctor visit and prescription, leading to an underground industry selling veterinary formulations, since this Ivermectin is a main stay in treating animal parasitic infections. This is a YouTube Shorts video. I'm about to tell you what you need to know about ivermectin. A few years back, a man in his mid-seventies shared an unconventional tip with me while helping to deworm our animals. He demonstrated using a 6mm syringe to take a dose of ivermectin by mouth, claiming it can prevent parasite infections that may be inadvertently ingested. Intrigued, I decided to follow his advice, although with a smaller dose. This veteran farmer had been practicing such remedies for around 45-50 years, having learned from his father. While I was initially surprised, his extensive experience managing a farm made me reconsider my approach to using ivermectin. Later, I tried to find any connection between his advice and managing conditions like Ulcerative colitis.
