I've made video focusing on the expensive ways to convert acoustic drums into electronic, but in this video we are focusing on the budget side of things. Step by step, this is how you can build an acoustic sized electronic drumset from the ground up without going broke.

TIP 1: Buy acoustic drums as the base.
TIP 2: When you buy a used acoustic set, make sure it includes the hardware. This will save you hundreds of dollars later in the build process.
