This Ethiopic version of the Book of Enoch is deemed by scholars to be older by several centuries than the Slavonic one, and portions of this older version are in turn known to have been based on even older manuscripts, such as a lost Book of Noah. Fragments of the Enoch books were discovered among the Dead Sea scrolls. The astronomical-calendrical tale of Enoch thus goes back into great antiquity - perhaps, as the Bible asserts, to pre-Diluvial times. ~ Z.S.

Have you ever wondered how Mormons—properly referred to as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—got their nickname? It’s a pretty simple answer. Members of the Church read and revere a book of scripture called the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. The crowning event recorded in the Book of Mormon is the account of the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ ministering, teaching, and blessing people in the Americas.

The Book of Mormon teaches the gospel of Jesus Christ, outlines God’s plan of happiness for His children, and tells them what they must do to gain peace in this life and exaltation in the life to come. The Book of Mormon exists to testify of Jesus Christ and His life and mission, confirming what is taught in the Bible and clarifying points of doctrine. Through living the teachings found in the Bible and Book of Mormon, people will find peace and truth.

They are also known as robin red breasts or just red breasts due to their bright colored chests and necks. These little bird tend to stay in the same area all year round and even sing throughout the entire year! They do so to defend their territories. These birds are so defensive of their land that they'll even attack objects that simply look like an intruder - including red colored flowers!
