Simply put it's one of the greatest songs ever written and performed. It was released n the fall of 1964 and composed by Holland Dozier Holland, and was the Four Tops first hit. It reached No.11 on the billboard charts and has now passed into folklore as classic definitive motown. Masterfully led by the great Levi Stubbs and atmospherically backed by Fakir, Payton and Benson.

The Four Tops are one of the most popular and successful Motown groups of all time. They were known for their smooth harmonies, energetic performances, and memorable hits that became the soundtrack for many generations. The group, which was formed in 1953, comprised of four members, Levi Stubbs, Abdul Fakir, Renaldo "Obie" Benson, and Lawrence Payton, who all shared lead vocal duties. Unfortunately, over the years, the group has lost some of its members. In this video, we will take a look at the lives and careers of the Four Tops members who have passed away.
