European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen proposed Wednesday that Canada become the bloc’s first “associate member,” a move aimed at shoring up their economies in the face of increasing trade tensions with the United States.

Something is happening in Europe. Yesterday we had multiple nations warning about the possibility of a Russian escalation creeping into NATO and EU territory.

These warnings aren’t new and one at a time isn’t anything special. But in the last 48 hours we’ve had Poland, France, The Netherlands, Finland, Lithuania and Switzerland issue warnings while the US uncovered a Russian plot to carry out assassinations inside the United States.

Now on the bright side President Trump signed the new Russia sanctions bill into law and the US appears ready to sell the largest batch of weapons to Ukraine in years, more on that later in today’s video.

The US and Denmark have announced a deal on Greenland's security, resolving a diplomatic dispute sparked by President Donald Trump's threats to seize the territory by force.

The announcement comes after months of threats by Trump to "take" Greenland over national security concerns.

Trump said the agreement would grant the US "permanent control over security, and all other needs" in the semi-autonomous Danish territory.
