In this video I am going to show you how to harvest the comfrey leaves that you may have growing, as well as dig up the roots. Comfrey- Symphytum officinale is an attractive plant with large broad leaves, (deep green in the Russian variety, and lighter green in the English variety) with tubular flowers that range in blue to purple, and white. Clones = Exact Copies
Clones are more properly called asexual vegetative propagation is a common method of propagation for cannabis and other plants.

Goal is to maintain exact chemical profile of the original plant which in some cases could be a genetic isolate.



Basic Cloning Process is Simple
Minimal materials are needed

Many are present in a general growing operation

How much resources you allocate will depend on the scale of your operation.

Simple Materials List
Stock/Mother Plant
Male plants can also be cloned for breeding purposes
However, plant material should not be an autoflower
Knife or even sharp scissors
Rooting Hormone
Will increase success rate
Propagation Environment
Diffused light (under 300 PAR)
High Relative Humidity: (90% RH)
Temperature: 78⁰F-82⁰F (25⁰C-28⁰C)

Rooting and Clones
Clones will form adventitious roots and will lack a central tap root that forms when starting with seeds.
