In this video we will cover Trich or Trichomoniasis. We will cover what it is, what symptoms it causes and how to get rid of it.

This video is part of a videoseries on sex related medical problem. Find the playlists here:
https://www.youtube.com/playli....st?list=PLaG3Bo3L0gX

What is Trich?
Trich, also called Trichomoniasis is an infectious disease caused by a parasite named Trichomonas vaginalis. It’s a protozoan, meaning it’s a single-celled organism.
It nests in the female lower genital tract, such as the cervix, urethra or bladder. And in men it resides in the urethra and prostate.
These locations explain why Trich is an STI. You can get Trich by having sex with someone who has it; even if that person has no symptoms.

What symptoms does Trich cause?
Once infected, about 70% of people does not develop any symptoms. In those that do get symptoms, they typically begin 5-28 days after the initial infection.
- In men Trich may cause: Itching or irritation of the genitals, a burning sensation after peeing and a discharge from the genitals.
- In women Trich may cause: Itching, burning, redness or soreness of the genitals; discomfort when peeing and a discharge.

How common is a Trich infection?
It is estimated to be the most common curable STI there is. There were about 2 million Trich infections in 2018 in the USA alone. And worldwide we are talking, about 60-180 million cases.

Tips & tricks:
- Avoid skin-to-skin contact.
- Use a condom or dental dams.
- Avoid sexual intercourse.
- Avoid having multiple sexual partners.
- Avoid drinking alcohol or using drugs.
- Have regular checkups or STI tests

Treatment:
Trich is easily treatable, usually with an one time oral dose of an anti-protozoics, like Metronidazole. It resolves 95-97% of all infections in one dose.
Here it is also important to mention that your partner should also be treated, even if he/she does not have any symptoms. In addition don’t have any intercourse for 7-10 days after treatment. And lastly when you have a proven Trich infection always get treated. If you don’t an infection can last for months or even years and can cause serious complications.

The Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) is currently at the centre of the largest maternity inquiry in the history of the NHS - looking at care provided to about 2,500 families between 2012 and 2025.

The inquiry has been investigating stillbirths, neonatal deaths, maternal deaths, and injured babies and mothers at NUH, which runs City Hospital and Queen's Medical Centre.

Panorama has seen previously unreported documents and has also spoken to 10 midwives who worked there, about their experiences over the past decade providing a unique insight into what working conditions were like.

🎤 Lyrics: Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You

[Intro]
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
I don't care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you, yeah

[Verse 1]
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need (And I)
Don't care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I don't need to hang my stocking
There upon the fireplace (Ah)
Santa Claus won't make me happy
With a toy on Christmas Day

[Chorus]
I just want you for my own (Ooh)
More than you could ever know (Ooh)
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you
You, baby

[Verse 2]
Oh, I won't ask for much this Christmas
I won't even wish for snow (And I)
I'm just gonna keep on waiting
Underneath the mistletoe
I won't make a list and send it
To the North Pole for Saint Nick (Ah)
I won't even stay awake to
Hear those magic reindeer click

[Chorus]
'Cause I just want you here tonight (Ooh)
Holding on to me so tight (Ooh)
What more can I do?
Oh baby, all I want for Christmas is you
You, baby

[Bridge]
Oh, all the lights are shining
So brightly everywhere (So brightly, baby)
And the sound of children's
Laughter fills the air (Oh, oh yeah)
And everyone is singing (Oh yeah)
I hear those sleigh bells ringing (Oh)
Santa, won't you bring me the one I really need? (Yeah, oh, oh)
Won't you please bring my baby to me?

[Verse 3]
Oh, I don't want a lot for Christmas
This is all I'm asking for (Ah)
I just wanna see my baby
Standing right outside my door

[Chorus]
Oh, I just want you for my own (Ooh)
More than you could ever know (Ooh)
Make my wish come true
Oh baby, all I want for Christmas is you

[Outro]
You, baby
All I want for Christmas is you, baby (You)
All I want for Christmas is you, baby (Ah, oh, ah, oh)
All I want for Christmas is you, baby (You)
All I want for Christmas is you, baby (All I really want, baby, ooh)
All I want for Christmas is you, baby (All I want, all I really want is you)

Herbal salves are one of my absolute favorite home remedies and skin care products to make. They are super simple to create once you have completed making a herb infused oil. In this video I am making a first aid salve which will be used on minor cuts, bug bites, burns, rashes, acne and other types of minor skin irritations. The recipe I used for this salve is one that can be used for any type of salve you plan to make!

Instructional videos on making herb infused oils:

1. Alcohol intermediary method: (my favorite for making oils that go into salves) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INykP25N2SQ&t=37s

2. Folk method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07Wm3i4MsUU

Directions for making a salve:
1. Clean and sterilize any jars/utensils you will be using in the process. Make sure everything is completely dry before use.
2. Melt your beeswax on low in a bane marie and add in your herb infused oils. For a small batch for personal use I recommend 1 ounce of beeswax to 4 ounces of you herb infused oils. ( I recommend making your salve in a container with a spout. This makes pouring it more precise and less messy. )
3. Once all of the ingredients are thoroughly mixed together and melted it is time to pour your salve into containers. (Before pouring you can choose to add in some essential oils)
4. Let your salves harden in place and completely solidify.
5. Put on lids, label and store in a cool & dark place.

My first aid salve recipe follows all of these steps and the ingredients are: 1 ounce of beeswax, 2 ounces of yarrow & plantain infused olive oil and 2 ounces of self heal infused coconut oil.

Thanks for watching and happy crafting! For any questions feel free to ask in the comments below.
