Mixing concrete is not an easy task. Lucky for us, we don't have to mix it the old way anymore, where we used to have to mix the sand and the cement together to get our concrete mix.

Mixing sand and cement by hand like this is a great way to make enough mortar for DIY projects. Mixing mortar with a builders spot like this is fantastic because it allows you to keep sand and cement mixes smaller, therefor fresher and better.

The only trouble with 'knocking up' any sort of spot mix or wheel barrow mix, has been taking care of your back. Here I give my technique for a spot mix that I don't find back intensive.

Pointing slabs, chimneys, ridge tiles, walls...
Brick laying, block laying...
Mixing concrete, post mix, concrete worktops...

*******Quick Overview of the concrete slabs *******
Step 1. Pick a spot and flatten the soil.
Step 2. Cut 2x4 and build the frames.
Step 3. Cut stakes and drive them into the ground next to the concrete forms.
Step 4. Mix the concrete mix and pour the concrete mixture into the forms.
Step 5. Screed the top and trowel it after
Step 6. Pour the 6 slabs outside and pull off the forms after, leaving the middle.
Step 7. Pour the three middle slabs.
Step 8. Finally, remove the rest of the forms.

How To Make a Paper Boomerang - Origami
Welcome to my tutorial on how to make a paper boomerang (Really comes back!!).
Start off with just a normal sheet of A4 or letter Sized (8.5 x 11 inches) Printer Paper. With one sheet you'll be able to make 2 boomerangs!! Scissors to cut the paper in half are optional, as you can also tear the paper like I do in this video.
If you follow all the instructions in this tutorial carefully it should be quite easy to make. Just make sure that you make really good creases and that the boomerang is as flat as possible. Neatness really counts with this model.

If your boomerang does't fly back, first make sure your model look exactly the same as mine. Throw the boomerang slightly upwards and spin it.

Tutorial on how to make a Shuriken or Origami Ninja Star it made of 1 paper A4
