This video is about How to Make a Hydrosol and a bit about foraging western red cedar.
Once we wild harvest some western red cedar (Thuja plicata) branches, I'll take you home and show you how to make a hydrosol right in your kitchen!
.
Hydrosols are plant water distillations that contain plant constituents and therefore the health benefits of the plant. They also contain traces of the essential oil of the plant. They are often a good alternative to essential oils as they are more gentle to our systems.

Come find out about this majestic Tree of Life, as it's known to the native peoples. Western red cedar is a beautiful, towering tree with some amazing medicinal qualities...then learn how to use the branches to create a lovely hydrosol for your skin!
