Carroll Roberson is an American pastor, author, gospel singer and songwriter. He converted in 1983 when he was diagnosed with throat cancer. With no promise that he would be able to speak anymore, Roberson underwent thyroid surgery and was back singing again within three weeks. Shortly thereafter, Roberson devoted himself to full-time ministry, serving as pastor of a Baptist church in his hometown for two years, later Roberson founded Carroll Roberson Ministries a ministry where he holds revival meetings, crusades, and concerts in across the country Being the founder and president of this Christian organization in Ripley, Mississippi.
Roberson is well known for his songs, having written over 300 songs and recorded over 40 albums. He had a huge national hit with songs like "Wilt Thou Be Made Whole", which charted in 1995 for two months. Roberson has had over 50 songs on the gospel music charts since 1988, Roberson has also received numerous nominations and awards for his singing, including Voice Magazine's "Top Soloist" award and Hearts Aflame Soloist in 1998.
