This is a continuation of my ideas about diy electronic drum pads/kits. I rectified some issues from the previous video like implementing velocity sensitivity. I am using an Arduino micro controller to translate the drum hits into midi data sent to a laptop.

I've made video focusing on the expensive ways to convert acoustic drums into electronic, but in this video we are focusing on the budget side of things. Step by step, this is how you can build an acoustic sized electronic drumset from the ground up without going broke.

TIP 1: Buy acoustic drums as the base.
