🎬 ABOUT BEHOLD A PALE HORSE 🎬

Sought for 15 years by the cruel police captain, Vinolas (Anthony Quinn), Manuel (Gregory Peck) learns from Carlos (Raymond Pellegrin) that his mother, Pilar (Mildred Dunnock), is dying. An orphan since Vinolas killed his father, 11-year old Paco (Marietto Angeletti) draws a map for the guerrilla leader, hoping he'll kill Vinolas when he gets to San Martin. In a deathbed plea to Father Francisco (Omar Sharif), Pilar asks that he warn her son to stay away. Although the priest leaves the message at Manuel's sanctuary, Paco destroys it. But when Paco sees Carlos and realizes he's an informer, he tells Manuel. Determined to uncover the truth, Manuel searches for the priest and learns of Carlos' betrayal. Following an arduous journey, Manuel reaches San Martin where he wrests a rifle from a police sniper on the hospital roof. And once Vinolas and Carlos are both in range, he chooses to kill the traitor, only to die himself in a hail of police gunfire.
