In this tutorial we will be recreating the Uber app using Material UI (MUI for short) design library. MUI is a UI component library by Google - It is an implementation of googles material design specification.

The thing about design is that there’s so many different ways to create one thing and as a new designer you might feel imposter syndrome when your process is different from someone else’s with more experience. It’s good to remember that as long the end product is good design with an even better user experience.

This tutorial tries a different process using MUI library rather than a standard design system
