UK, French and German foreign ministers will hold talks with their Iranian counterpart in Geneva today as part of efforts to ease the Israel-Iran conflict.
The White House says Donald Trump will decide in the next two weeks whether the US will join Israeli strikes on Iran.
The exchange of fire between Israel and Iran has continued, with the Israeli military saying it attacked dozens of targets including what it called missile manufacturing sites in Tehran.
Seven people have been injured in Beersheba, southern Israel, emergency services say, after an Iranian missile struck a technology park.

US President Donald Trump has ruled out putting US boots on the ground to assist peacekeeping efforts in Ukraine, while claiming that the UK, France and Germany "want" to send soldiers to the country.

Speaking to Fox News on Tuesday, Trump said European troops would be involved on the ground in Ukraine to deter any future Russian invasion.

Vladimir Putin has warned Britain and the US that they could be targeted with a new type of Russia missile.
Speaking in a televised national address, he said Moscow had tested a new intermediate range missile in a strike on Dnipro.
It followed a Ukrainian attack using several British-made Storm Shadow missiles earlier in the week.
Putin said the new missile could be used against countries that have allowed Kyiv to use their missiles to strike Russia.

They’re Britain's most notorious serial killer couple, carrying out some of the most horrific crimes in modern history. Fred and Rose West killed and tortured at least 10 women in Gloucestershire between 1967-1987, burying many of the remains in their garden at 25 Cromwell Street - where our next guest lived as a lodger for 18 months. After being abused by Fred herself, 17-year-old Kathleen Richards fled the so-called ‘house of horrors’, but her friend and fellow lodger Shirley Robinson was not so lucky. Years later, as the truth about the Wests unfurled, Kathy discovered -along with the rest of the world, that Shirley had been brutally murdered, 8-months pregnant with Fred’s baby. Now a mum of three, Katherine joins us to reveal how she managed to escape with her life and how her testimony as a key witness at Rose’s trial helped to convict Britain’s most ‘evil’ woman.

A deal removing some trade barriers between the UK and US has been signed off by US President Donald Trump with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the G7 summit in Canada.
The move will bring into force parts of an agreement agreed between the two countries last month, and reduce tariffs on UK cars being shipped to the US.
The deal includes a 10% levy on most UK goods, including cars, and did not address the expected removal of charges on steel imports.

The UK must “actively prepare for the possibility of the UK coming under direct threat, potentially in a wartime scenario.”
That’s a quote from the UK government in its 2025 national security strategy.
The document also said threats from other countries were on the rise, and that the UK had been “directly threatened by hostile activities.”
But what are these threats? And what would war even look like in a modern age?

The UK and US have not signed an international agreement on artificial intelligence (AI) at a global summit in Paris.
The statement, signed by France, China and India among other countries, pledges an "open", "inclusive" and "ethical" approach to the technology's development.
Downing Street said the UK "hadn't been able to agree all parts of the leaders' declaration" and would "only ever sign up to initiatives that are in UK national interests".
The statement signed by 60 countries says the summit has affirmed to reducing digital divides by promoting AI accessibility, and ensuring it is "transparent" and "safe", among other aims.

President Donald Trump has launched a major military strike against the Houthi rebels in Yemen, delivering what he calls “overwhelming lethal force” in response to continued attacks on Red Sea shipping. But in a significant shift from past joint operations, the UK was reportedly left out of the loop.
Ben Leo breaks down the implications of this move with expert analysis from Lt. Col. Stuart Crawford and Lee Cohen. Was Britain deliberately sidelined? Has Trump lost trust in Keir Starmer’s government? And what does this mean for the so-called special relationship between the US and UK?
