Never Gonna Give Together Forever Up

I wanted to share this revelation I had about two songs by Mr. Rick Roll himself.

Everyone, at this point, is familiar with Mr. Astley's hit "Never Gonna Give You Up", from 1987. That song was written and produced by Stock Aitken Waterman, who also wrote and produced "Together Forever" that same year. Both of these pop tunes are Rick Astley standards for sure, and recently I found out exactly how similar they are...

Listening to "Together Forever" I began to sing "Never Gonna Give You Up" on top of the chorus and it seemed to fit. So with some recording technology, and a great bounty of samples from the internet, I was able to piece together this beauty. I'm sill quite surprised how well it worked.

I had to bring "Together Forever" down a semi-tone to blend with the other track, but the timing was maintained very well.

This is no jab at the producers, because both these songs are catchy, which is why it's so nice to hear mashed together....forever.
