We all aware about the scoreboard used in games. Today we will tell you the designing of the electronic scoreboard.

A scoreboard is a large board for publicly displaying the score in a game. We have used 4 inch seven segment display to make an electronic scoreboard. Most levels of sport from high school and above use at least one scoreboard for keeping score, measuring time, and displaying statistics. Scoreboards in the past used a mechanical clock and numeral cards to display the score. When a point was made, a person would put the appropriate digits on a hook. Most modern scoreboards use electromechanical or electronic means of displaying the score. In these, digits are often composed of large dot-matrix or seven-segment displays made of incandescent bulbs, light-emitting diodes, or electromechanical flip segments. An official or neutral person will operate the scoreboard, using a control buttons.

Such type of scoreboards are useful for Football, Hockey, Tennis, Kabaddi, baseball etc

A massive landslide in a Greenland fjord triggered a wave that “shook the Earth” for nine days.

The seismic signal last September was picked up by sensors all over the world, leading scientists to investigate where it had come from.

The landslide - a mountainside of rock that collapsed and carried glacial ice with it - triggered a 200m wave.

That wave was then “trapped” in the narrow fjord - moving back and forth for nine days, generating the vibrations.

Landslides like this, scientists say, are happening more frequently with climate change - as the glaciers that support Greenland's mountains melt.

A video shared by a gynecologist in Uttar Pradesh has sparked widespread concern online after revealing the case of a 22-year-old woman who is pregnant with her sixth child. According to the doctor, the woman and her husband were married when they were 15 and already have five children - four daughters and one son. Despite this, the couple, who are from Rajasthan, reportedly decided to continue having children in hopes of having another boy. The case was shared by Dr. Pragya Tomar of Spandan Hospital, who said the video was posted with the consent of the patient and her husband.

During the interaction, the woman reportedly told the doctor, "I keep having girls… we have one boy, we need another boy." Her husband added that one son was "not enough" to support the family and continue the family lineage, remarks that quickly triggered debate online over deep-rooted son preference and gender bias.
