➡️ Just as God has specific assignments for angels, he has unique tasks for us to accomplish. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the fact that God is moving in a way that’s more pronounced than at any other time in our lives. Will we sit on the sidelines, or will we choose to engage in His purposes and offer our lives, our time, and our talents to further His Kingdom? Many people in the Bible felt unqualified for their God-assignments, and Pastor Allen examines some of their responses to show these people were a lot like us—insecure, doubtful, and resistant to new ideas. But God works in the earth through imperfect people who are willing to follow Him. If we choose to live godly lives and spread His light and truth, He will come alongside us and multiply our efforts.

➡️ God is still recruiting men and women who will give themselves to His purposes. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson talks about the importance of choosing to please God, saying “yes” when He recruits us for assignments. Pastor Allen shows how several heroes in the Bible responded when God asked them to do something difficult. Their initial responses were much like ours: "I’m not ready; I’m not capable; I’m too busy; There are other people more qualified to do that, God.” When God calls us to do something new, it generally comes with challenges. But if we determine to pray, please God, and do difficult things, He will use our lives to accomplish mighty things in His Kingdom.

➡️ You have the power to change your future, but do you believe it? In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson reminds us of who God is and what He is capable of doing. When we choose to align ourselves with God and follow His direction for our lives, we gain access to His power, wisdom, understanding, and grace—and that changes everything. Pastor Allen discusses the life of Ahab, a king who was so ungodly that 1 Kings 25 tells us, “There was none who sold himself to do what was evil in the sight of the LORD like Ahab.” Ahab repented of his sinful ways after receiving a prophetic message from Elijah. God turned Ahab’s heart back to Him, and He can do the same in any heart today. Pastor Allen offers a powerful Psalm we can pray over our lives to invite the Holy Spirit to help us repent and forgive so we can draw closer to God and seek Him more fully.

➡️ To understand America’s history, you must acknowledge the blessings of God. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses how the Christian faith has impacted our nation. The Declaration of Independence acknowledges God’s sovereignty, stating we are “endowed by (our) Creator with certain unalienable rights.” We need to invest in developing our character—and our children’s character—so we’re prepared to protect our freedoms and liberties with the same kind of tenacity previous generations held. ➡️ Perhaps the single most consistent characteristic of the people of God, throughout the Bible, is they listen to God’s voice. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson offers insight on what it means to listen to the Lord and provides steps we can take to draw closer to God so we can hear Him better. In Judges 6 and 7, God gave Gideon a very difficult and seemingly impossible assignment, and his willingness to follow the Lord led to supernatural results. God continues to call people into challenging assignments today, and deciding to listen and obey His direction comes with many blessings and benefits.

Donald Trump’s last speech as President on January 20 might have brought relief to many of his critics, but a lot of them couldn’t help but notice that one person was missing. His wife Melania was there, as were his four oldest kids, but youngest son Barron was nowhere to be found. Had they left him in the house and forgotten him? Was he already chilling on the plane? Had he disappeared like Chuck on Happy Days?
